Prof. Alfred Yawson advises Akomapa on public health, health professions education, and health systems leadership through his work at the University of Ghana.

Vice President
Esi Bon Berkoh studied medicine at the University of Cape Coast School of Medical Sciences after earning a BSc in Biology from Mount Holyoke College and an MSc in Infection, Immunity & Human Disease from the University of Leeds. As Vice President and co-founder of Akomapa Health, she coordinates clinic operations, supports organizational leadership, and helps organize community engagement programs.

UG Expansion Lead
Dr. Patrick Ampofo is an alumnus of the University of Ghana Medical School and studies public health at Yale. He leads Akomapa’s University of Ghana expansion, engaging institutional partners and mobilizing medical students around evidence-based, community-centered health interventions.
